Megan Burgess is a passionate litigator with over 20 years' experience. Megan specializes in real property and construction litigation, commercial and contract disputes, and all aspects of representing contractors and homeowners. Megan works closely with general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and homeowners. Megan has cemented her reputation as a highly skilled and effective advocate for her clients. She has helped hundreds of clients successfully resolve disputes in mediation, arbitration, litigation and on appeal.
Ms. Burgess has taught seminars on litigation practice and construction law issues, and routinely presents to realtors on topics of interest in the ever-changing real estate market in Central Oregon.
Megan proudly served on the Oregon Women Lawyers Board of Directors from 2010-2019 and served on OWLS’ Executive Committee as Treasurer. Megan is dedicated to the mission of the Bethlehem Inn, Central Oregon’s only homeless shelter serving men, women and families. She served on their Board of Directors from 2016 to 2022, when she served as the President of the Board of Directors.

Megan is a graduate of Linfield University (2001) and Willamette University College of Law (2004). A former United States Senate Page at the Capitol in Washington D.C, Megan is a member of several other professional and personal associations. But most days, she’d rather associate with her family and yellow lab at a nearby mountain lake.
